Product detailed description
belongs to the group of scales with touch controls. The biggest advantage of the Quintix series is easy operation using a color touch screen. Serious applications are clearly displayed with icons, as is usual for "smart devices" today. Another plus of this series is excellent data communication. Each Quintix is equipped with a data output mini USB with Plug & Play, which enables the direct transfer of weighed values and calibration protocols to the most commonly used Microsoft Office programs (MS Word and MS Excel) without the need to install additional special software for communication between the balance and the PC . Unlike the Secura series of scales, the Quintix series is leveled (leveling) using a classic analog spirit level, and the leveling status is not monitored by optoelectronic sensors. The Quintix series is not equipped with the APC Advance Pharma Compilance package). These are the two main differences between the design-similar Secura and Quintix series.

Automatic isoCAL calibration
The isoCAL automatic calibration function ensures motor calibration and adjustment with internal calibration weights even without user intervention on based on the set time interval or when the ambient temperature changes. The isoCAL function thus ensures especially long-term repeatability of the achieved results. The isoCAL calibration is started in the following cases:
a) The user can start the calibration manually
b) Each weight  ;Secura and Quintix start automatically internal calibration after a set time interval, which varies according to the specific type of scale (4 - 24 hours). So it cannot happen that the user forgets to calibrate the scale. The scale always finds "its moment" when weighing is not in progress and starts the internal calibration itself. If it detects a deviation during calibration, it performs a so-called adjustment, i.e. corrects the detected deviation back to zero value.
c) It is proven that a change in ambient temperature can negatively affect the weighted results. Opening a window near the scale or running the air conditioner in the summer months can invalidate the accuracy or repeatability of the results. To prevent this from happening, some series of Sartorius balances (e.g. Quintix, Secura, Cubis) are equipped with a temperature sensor that monitors sharp fluctuations in the temperature of the surrounding environment. When the temperature changes by 1.5 - 4 ° Kelvin (according to the settings of the specific model) the scale automatically activates the internal calibration and if it finds any deviation, it corrects it back to the zero value. If weighing is in progress, the scale will show the user on the display a request to start the internal calibration, which the user can either confirm or postpone. Secura and Cubis balances store the results of all calibration protocols in the internal memory, so the user can look them up by date at any time and prove the state of the balance at the time when the weighing results were obtained. Scales of the Quintix series display only the last calibration protocol and are not equipped with an internal memory for data storage.
